Due to our domestic market’s demands to the shunting locomotive, such as the Islamic Republic of Iran Railway (RAI) and factories related to Steel and Cement, etc., MLC has started a new project for designing, engineering and prototype manufacturing of shunting locomotive with MAPNA brand (MAP12). Now, the design and engineering activities of the project are underway. In this regard, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between MLC and a well-known local steel Company.
